A woman was sexually assaulted as she left a Hemel Hempstead supermarket.

The 29 year old victim was leaving Asda via the vehicle entrance, just off Hillfield Road, when she was touch inappropriately by a man.

It happened at around 11am on Saturday, July 25 and the man is described as white with tanned skin, aged in his 20s to 30s, under 5ft 9ins tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a plain light grey hooded top with the hood up, with light grey knee length shorts and a pair of sandals.

Herts Police assistant Investigator Lisa Brown said: “We have been conducting a thorough investigation since the incident happened and would now like to appeal for witnesses to come forward. I am appealing to anyone who saw the incident or anyone who may have information about this crime, to get in contact as soon as possible”
