Gunshots were fired in Hemel Hempstead’s Woodhall Farm last night in what is believed to be a targeted incident.

Police were called to Coleridge Crescent at 6.50pm yesterday evening after reports a weapon had been fired at a house on the street.

The firearm was discharged to the outside of the property, causing damage to the house, but no-one was injured in the attack.

Investigators believe this is a targeted incident, and that the man who fired the shots is known to the residents at the address.

After the shots were fired, the man got into a vehicle and fled the scene.

The force’s firearms officers were sent to the scene shortly after the incident, but the offender could not be traced.
The specialist team also attended an address in Widford Terrace in the early hours of this morning as part of their enquiries into the incident.

Police inquiries are currently ongoing – any witnesses or those with information about this incident is asked to contact police using the non-emergency number 101.
