Try out denim surgery’s body scanner for size at Hemel Hempstead shopping centre

A ‘denim surgery’ event being held this weekend in the Marlowes Shopping Centre may not be what you think.

It’s not a kind of operation to make you skinny enough for your skinny jeans. Neither will it look like a massacre at a country and western convention, or as though the 90s pop group of double-denim divas B*Witched have had a clear-out.

In fact, the denim surgery is a fashion event in which women – whether they are tall, petite, slim or curvy – can find their perfect pair of jeans.

There will be some hospital-like equipment present, though – a 3D body scanner which will help shoppers discover their true body shape.

Event organiser Emma Robson said: “We are so pleased to bring the body scanning experience to the shoppers at Marlowes, it’s an invaluable tool to help shoppers not only understand their true body shape but also to receive personal style and colour consultations from some of the best stylists working in the UK today, and all for free.

“We are looking forward to a very busy day and helping as many customers as possible find their dream outfit.”

Free makeovers are available and there will be hot fashion buys and tips on offer from all of the shopping centre’s best brands.

Ann Summers will also be on hand offering their expert opinion and measuring service in the lingerie station, ensuring that all aspects of your makeover are covered. Shoppers using this fantastic service will receive an exclusive 20 per cent off Ann Summers discount.

Head down to the Marlowes Shopping Centre in Hemel Hempstead town centre on Saturday from 11am to 4pm, to get involved and take advantage of the free events and special offers.
