Tring Park students do exams with less study

SHOWBIZ students at Tring Park achieved a mixed bag of grades in this year’s A levels, which will see some start courses at prestigious schools and others take their first steps into the world of work.

Director of education Helen Wells said: “Our students spend a lot less time in academic study than a conventional school as we concentrate on performance.

“Our students do four hours of academic studies a day so achieve their grades with less study.”

A level students from Tring Park, will be following a a variety of career paths that could see them appear on national theatre stages and television screens.

Imogen Myers, who dances with the National Youth Ballet and achieved two A* grades and an A will continue to do dance training at Tring Park while student Natalie Nagar, from Hong Kong, will use her A* grade and two As to attend Yale university in America.
