Cyclists got in the saddle for a scenic summer ride with Tring and Berkhamsted Cycling Campaign.

Around 30 people took part in the first leg of the evening ride, which set off from renewable energy firm RES in Egg Farm Lane, Kings Langley, and travelled to The Three Horseshoes pub in Winkwell on Tuesday, June 21.

Then another batch of keen cyclists set off on the second leg from the pub to Ivinghoe Beacon and then to the Valiant Trooper in Aldbury.

Event organiser Danny Bonnett said: “It was an event that was part of Bike Week to get people out on their bikes.”

The group’s next event is its annual Bike Fest at Canal Field in Berkhamsted on Sunday, September 18.

There will be cycle training, bike maintenance, guided road rides and lots more.
