PART of the M25 had to be closed after a lorry’s load of straw went up in flames.
Firefighters were called to the motorway just before 10.30am today (Wednesday).
The hard shoulder and lane one of the road between J19 and J18 anticlockwise were closed by the Highways Agency while crews battled the blaze.
Lane two was then also shut off to allow the vehicle to be recovered.
Motorists are facing delays of around 20 minutes on top of normal journey times.
