Train death man named

THE man who died after being hit by a train has been named.

Ashley Pickering, 54, from Horton near Maidenhead, was struck in Cheddington Railway Station on Monday at 10.20am last week.

An inquest was opened and adjourned by Bucks Coroners Court on Thursday.

"Horton near Maidenhead"? Horton is near Cheddington Station. I would have hoped local journalists would have known that!
