HAMLINS is the latest shop to swing open its doors to the public in a thriving town centre.
The toy shop reopened in Berkhamsted’s Lower Kings Road after its pervious owners moved out and closed the shop.
Co-owner Jason Messenger says the new one has more toys as it is a Hamlins Toymaster.
He said: “I do not know what it is that makes Berkhamsted special – but it is a lovely town, very community-focused and friendly. We thought it was crying out for a toy shop.
“We want to put something back into the community with school competitions for our toys and donations to charity too.”
It is the seventh Hamlins he has opened with wife Emma.
To celebrate their new store, the Toymaster teddy visited Berkhamsted and gave away balloons.
