A survey has revealed that many patients who are treated at Hemel Hempstead’s Urgent Care Centre, Watford or St Albans hospitals would recommend the service to their family and friends.

During July, 616 local people completed the government’s new NHS Friends and Family test.

A total of 470 – 76 per cent – said they were extremely likely to recommend the wards and A&E services of the West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust to their loved ones, while 125 – 20 per cent – said they were likely to do so.

The number of people saying that they would be ‘extremely unlikely’ to recommend the medical services on offer decreased in the past month – from 13 people in June to just
three in July.
