The journey for Toby has a happy ending

SIX-year-old Toby Hawkridge walked his mum down the aisle when she got married two days before Christmas.

The youngster from Hemel Hempstead, who until now was unable to walk without a frame, made the journey down the aisle with one crutch.

He has mastered walking since his operation last year to make him walk without aid.

His dad Terry said: “On Christmas Day he ditched his crutches and has been walking everywhere completely unaided and is going to do kickboxing classes.”
