The story of a forgotten killer
An author came across a long-forgotten serial killer while researching a book on Berlin under the Nazis.
Roger Moorhouse, 42, from Pitstone, discovered the Nazi Stormtrooper Paul Ogorzow - then known as the S Bahn murderer - while trawling through local government archives in Berlin.
Ogorzow was a railway worker who waited in an empty train carriage to rape and murder lone women. He then threw their dead bodies from the moving train.
He was able to kill eight times before he was caught.
