Marlowes Shopping Centre is keeping the kids amused this summer with free family fun days planned for every Tuesday this month.

From 11am to 4pm, shoppers will be entertained with activities including free themed crafts, character visits and face painting.

On Tuesday, August 4, a Spiderman and Thor lookalike were on hand to interact with young fans and facepainters transformed children into their favourite hero or villain.

Next up is Dinosaur Day tomorrow (Tuesday, August 11) where Reggie the Raptor and friends will amuse visitors with mischievous antics throughout the day, and youngsters will be able to make their own colourful dinosaur masks.

Darth Vader and Jedi Masters will bring the force to the shopping centre on Tuesday, August 18 with a replica Star Fighter spacecraft.

On Tuesday, August 25 The Marlowes will be taking a trip into the future with a visit from the R4 Robot.

Children can then take inspiration from the real thing and build their own miniature robot to take home.

Vince Williams, centre director at The Marlowes said “Here at the centre we strive to have a full calendar of free family events especially weekly activity to keep kids busy over the summer holidays.

“Hopefully shoppers of all ages will be able to enjoy our action packed August.”

Shoppers are also able to enter a range of competitions throughout the summer on the Marlowes Facebook page.
