Students enthusiastic as creepy crawlies pay visit

PUPILS are spending the week interacting with nature as part of a school’s science week.

Half of Tring School’s Year 8 students were able to meet stick insects, giant snails and giant millipedes as company Gribbly Bugs visited on Monday.

Head of science Julia Curtis said: “They were really excited.

“We are trying to raise the profile of science and will be doing it bigger and better each year.”
