Hertfordshire County Council’s stop smoking service has teamed up with Watford Town Football club to get supporters to think about kicking cigarettes into touch this Stoptober and beyond.

Members of the team will be at Vicarage Road on Tuesday for the top-of-the-table clash with Nottingham Forest. They will give out information and advice about how they can help you stop, as well as taking part in a penalty shoot out at half-time with ‘Big Cig’.

The council has more than 300 trained advisors based in GPs, Pharmacies and Clinics across the county. To speak to someone call 0800 389 3998 you can text 07800 001 337.
