Tring School has improved its energy efficiency rating for the second year running.

The Mortimer Hill school building has been given a grade C rating and a score of 64 under the Energy Performance of Buildings scheme. Typically buildings like Tring School have a rating of D or E and a score of 100. There has also been a huge reduction in C02 emissions. In 2013, the school was emitting 617 tonnes per year. This was cut to 400 tonnes in 2014 and 300 tonnes this year.

Improvements have included better roof insulation, LED lighting and more efficient boilers.
