An alopecia sufferer who first launched her range of stylish wigs in Hemel Hempstead has seen her business grow from strength to strength.
Samantha Barnes, a former Cavendish School pupil who grew up in Bovingdon, lost her hair at the age of five but only had the idea to create her own wig label last year.
Samantha’s company TANGLED Wigs has now become a supplier on the UK’s biggest online wig retailer, Simply Wigs, and she is described on the site as ‘an exciting new designer’.
The entrepreneur, who believes wigs should be perceived as sexy and fashionable, has also launched a seasonal publication called TANGLED Magazine to support the brand.
The magazine’s summer edition featured an exclusive interview with Olympic cycling gold medallist and prolific alopecia sufferer Joanna Rowsell.
Samantha said: “It’s so exciting to have achieved so much and to have been recognised and accepted by big companies in the industry.”
