Rush hour crash causes delays

Motorists faced rush hour delays this morning (Monday) after a crash between a lorry and a car just off Junction 8 of the M1.

Police were called to the accident at 8.53am, where the lorry had collided with a black Ford Focus. Nobody was injured in the incident.

Drivers using the roundabout on Maylands Avenue were hit by delays to their journeys, but police officers have now left the scene having dealt with the crash.
