Register now to have a vote

There is less than one month to register to vote in this year’s council elections.

The county goes to the polls on May 4, and anyone who wants to have their say must register before Thursday, April 13.

Registering is an easy process which can be done online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. You can register to vote, apply for a postal vote, or update your details by contacting your local district or borough council.

All 78 seats at Herts County Council will be up for election this May, as well as by-elections for the Berkhamsted West ward on both Dacorum Borough Council and Berkhamsted Town Council.

Since the last election, there have been changes to some of the areas that councillors represent. This includes an extra division and changes to the names and boundaries of some divisions.
