Record collection for fund

An annual collection for serving and ex-soldiers who need help has raised a record number of funds.

The ABF The Soldiers' Charity, formerly the Army Benevolent Fund held their annual Street Collection in Berkhamsted on the August 21.

A record amount of 2,238.55 was raised, which was remarkable because the charity is no longer able to collect in its old premium spot outside the Waitrose supermarket.
