Pub chair thief nearly caught?

A LANDLORD believes he may have identified the woman who stole a chair from his pub.

Mick Owens rang the Gazette after the theft – which we reported with CCTV footage in our last edition of the paper. Now several people have told him they know the thief.

He said: “People have been horrified and disgusted – but now we think we know who the culprit is.”

Police say they are still investigating the crime.
