The organiser of the first Chilfest music festival says it will return for a second year in 2014.
Spandau Ballet crooner Tony Hadley was among the big acts at this year’s event in Tring.
It was hit by long bar queues – but Steve Butcher says that will not happen again. People will also be allowed to bring their own food and drink into the festival.
Mr Butcher said: “It’s going to be bigger and better next year.”
He said it will be held somewhere between Tring and Hemel Hempstead, and there will be another 1980s-themed night.
The 2013 Chilfest has been nominated for the category of best new festival, best toilets and best family festival in the UK Festival Awards. You can vote for it by following this link
Next year’s Chilfest will be held on Friday and Saturday, July 4-5. Tickets are expected to go on sale in mid-January, and the festival’s acts are due to be announced by mid-November.
