POLICE authority members will be getting into a groove at this weekend’s big music festival in a bid to be more in tune with the people they serve.

They’ll be at Music On The Moor this weekend to answer questions and discuss policing plans for the year ahead.

Police authority member Ron Tindall will be at the festival on Saturday between noon and 5pm, along with Dacorum’s Safer Neighbourhoods Inspector Pete Edwards.

Mr Tindall said: “I am looking forward to meeting as many local residents and visitors as possible to discuss the Hertfordshire Policing Plan, and hear their views on local priorities and policing in Hertfordshire more generally.

“There are many issues facing policing at the moment, including how the authority and constabulary are managing the reductions in police funding, our extensive work on collaboration, and planned changes to police governance.”

The festival is being held this weekend on Bulbourne Moor, Hemel Hempstead.
