PM David Cameron sends letter of encouragement to hospice fundraisers

Prime Minister David Cameron is backing hundreds of walkers taking part in the Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge this Sunday to raise money for Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care.

In a letter from Downing Street, Mr Cameron said: “I wholeheartedly support the aims of Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care’s Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge. I hope that all involved will have a most enjoyable time and wish you every success in your fundraising efforts.”

The letter comes following Mr Cameron’s chance encounter with participants near Chequers last year.

This year Gazette reporter Abena Bailey is taking part and is collecting donations on her JustGiving fundraising page.
