THOUSANDS of people who turned out for the annual Petertide Fair in Berkhamsted, helped to raise more than £9,000 for good causes.

The 30th annual event at St Peter’s Church, in Berkhamsted, was opened by the town’s mayor Councillor Carol Green and featured a variety of stalls and entertainment for visitors.

Residents enjoyed Petertide Ale and Pimm’s while children were entertained by a miniature train ride, Punch and Judy shows and face painting.
