Paralympic torch will come to Dacorum

FOLLOWING hot on the heels of the Olympic torch visiting Hemel Hempstead, it has been announced that the Paralympic torch relay will pass through the borough.

During the 24-hour relay route the torch will pass through Aston Clinton on Tuesday, August 28, at 11.55pm. Then Tring at 12.32am on Wednesday, August 29, Berkhamsted at 1.03am and Bourne End at 1.39am.

A total of 580 torchbearers, working in teams of five, will cover 87 miles from Stoke Mandeville in Bucks to London.
