Only way is Essex for April’s designs

A BEAUTY queen is hoping her fashion designs will be embraced as ‘totally reem’ by crowds at Essex Fashion Week.
Showing her talents on the catwalk in a different way, April Banbury, from Hemel Hempstead, will present a fashion collection at the star-studded event on Sunday, April 8.
Last year’s event was attended by the cast of The Only Way Is Essex and the designer and model is hoping this year’s press coverage will give her label April Banbury Designs a boost.
April, pictured above, said: “Doing the show means so much to me.
“It is the opportunity I have been waiting for.
“Because of the coverage the area has had, I’m hoping someone will recognise how good my designs are and sell them in Essex shops.”
“It would be amazing if one of the TOWIE cast wanted to wear one of my dresses.”
April, who is the reigning Miss Reading, said she will be adding a touch of Essex glamour to her collection, which she is working on from her home in Meadow Road.
