A day nursery raised more than £100 through a fun day and now two staff members are planning a sky dive to rake in more cash.

The funds will go to Great Ormond Street Hospital, a cause that is close to the hearts of staff at Positive Steps Day Nursery in Apsley.

On Saturday little ones could take part in arts and crafts, get their faces painted and have a go on the bouncy castle.

There was also a cake sale, tombola and raffle.

Deputy manager Amy Davies said: “There was a really good turnout. We had a lot of our children that attend the nursery plus others who came to view the nursery.”

This Sunday brave Kayleigh Foster and Emma Elborne will be jumping out of a plane to boost funds. To sponsor them visit www.justgiving.com/kayleigh-jayne-foster
