Nothing boar-ing about chef

A multi-talented pub chef has pledged to impress punters with her cooking and her singing.

The Boars Head in Piccotts End has taken on musician Nicole Hubner, formerly head chef at a top restaurant in Holland.

The 41-year-old is a whizz in the kitchen but can also entertain a crowd with her band, Mama Says Maybe, where she sings and plays the accordion.

The band is scheduled to play at the pub later this year.

In the meantime Miss Hubner will be serving up home-cooked grub including Irish stew, shepherds pie and Sunday roasts at the pub on Piccotts End Road, Hemel Hempstead.

More about The Boars Head's live music nights and special events can be found at www.boarsheadpub.com.
