Nepal? No problem, says trekking mum

The Hospice of St Francis’ medical director will swap stethoscopes for walking boots as part of a fundraising trek around Nepal in aid of the Berkhamsted-based palliative care service.

Dr Sharon Chadwick, 50, of HollybushClose, Potten End has worked for the Hospice for 12 years, and has signed up for the charity’s annual trek in autumnto fulfull a lifelong dream.

.Mum of two Sharon said: “‘I’ve always wanted to go to Nepal. I love the mountains and I enjoy being active, so to be able to do something I want to do so much and be able to raise money for the Hospice at the same time – how could I not do it?”
