NCT group comes back from brink of closure

A group for new parents that was threatened with closure last year has received so much support that it is now set to get bigger and better.

After a desperate plea for helpers the Tring and District branch of the National Childbirth Trust has attracted new volunteers and has several events coming up.

The charity is hosting a nearly new baby goods sale at Pitstone Memorial Hall in Vicarage Road, on Saturday, March 16 from 2.30pm to 4pm. Bumps and Babies sessions – running every second Monday of the month from 10am to midday – kick off on March 11 at the Temperance Hall, Christchurch Road, Tring.

Now the group is hoping to entice the sponsorship of businesses and is still open to new volunteers.
