A teenage eye cancer survivor officially opened Berkhamsted’s new Vision Express store.
Lottie Wilson, 19, was representing the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust - the optician’s nominated charity.
She declared the High Street shop open alongside store manager Rizwan Travadi and director of retail operations Neil McGowan.
Young Lottie is a passionate support of the charity after being diagnosed with a rare form of eye cancer in 1996.
She underwent chemotherapy and had to have an eye removed as part of her treatment.
Rizwan said: “It was great to welcome Lottie to the store to do the ribbon-cutting honours on behalf of the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust.”
