A 21-year-old man from London has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a town centre jewellers on Tuesday.

It is believed that two men entered Bailey & Sons in Lower Kings Road, Berkhamsted, with an axe and used it to smash through display cabinets

It is believed a getaway car was waiting outside for them, which was later discovered in the town’s Shootersway Lane, near the A41

The 21-year-old was arrested today on suspicion of robbery and remains in police custody at this time.
