Youngsters learnt all about healthy eating and took part in team building activities when they visited a local pub.
The Top of the World in Warners End, Hemel Hempstead, has opened its doors to schools so that it can pass on valuable lessons in business and other life skills to the younger generation.
Micklem School in Boxted Road is the first to take up the offer and it’s hoped that more will follow.
Pub manager Richard Curtis said: “The children absolutely loved it and the school has already said it wants to re-book.”
The pupils took part key skill games covering leadership, team work and communication and found out more about eating well.
Richard said: “Now we have done our first session we can start contacting other schools.”
The scheme is initially open to local primary schools but Richard hopes to reach out to other groups such as the scouts.
