If you’re wondering how to keep the kids occupied during the upcoming half term holidays, you can get them to dust off their bikes for a week’s free training.

The week long course – starting on Monday, April 7, at Grove Road School – teaches youngsters the skills they need to stay safe when cycling on the open road.

The course will last for two hours each day and will begin with the basics in the playground before moving on to learning about road rules and awareness. All these skills are put to the test on a led ride on the Friday and parents are invited to join their children to see what they have learned.

Children taking part need to be able to pedal their own bike and be equipped with a helmet.

To book a space, call Ana Jojic on 07845 289154 or email cyclechilterns@gmail.com. For more information, visit the Cycle Chilterns website here.
