There are just a few days to go until the Billy’s Wish family fun day and six-a-side tournament, and it promises to be quite the party at Hemel Hempstead Town FC.

A total of 12 teams have signed up for Saturday’s 6-a-side tournament, a bouncy castle has been booked, sumo suits are set, and the Herbie photo booth is on the start line.

The day has something for everyone – Irish dancers, majorettes and singing from the Pauline Quirk Academy; marshmallows to toast with the scouts; rugby balls to kick around with Camelot; as well as displays from Bury Judo and Hemel Boxing.

The day will also include a performance from the UK3Lions, who said: “We are very pleased to once again have been invited to come to Hemel Hempstead and support the important work being done by Billy’s Wish.

“We hope that many families and individuals come along and enjoy the concert that we will put on as well as leave with the importance of the message from the day in their minds.

“The UK3Lions motto is humility, excellence, discipline, charity. Billy’s Wish show all of these traits and we can’t wait for another great day.”

Doors open from 1pm and entry will be £2 for adults and £1 for children, while a family ticket will cost £5.

For further information about the day, please call Billy’s Wish on 0711 066696 or email billyswish@btinternet.com Alternatively, visit facebook.com/dove.billyswish for more.
