Pupils from Years 1 and 2 at Little Gaddesden School enjoyed a sleepover with a difference recently.

The children brought their sleeping bags for a night in the school hall, and enjoyed a dusk-lit wildlife tour from chair of governors Nick Crispin – after toasted marshmallows on the campfire, of course.

The ‘Big Sleepout’ event raised funds for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.
