‘Mesmerising’ Berkhamsted show rocks to help charity
Pepper 2012
THE latest annual Pepper Rock Concerts have drawn to a close – and audiences were ‘mesmerised’ by them.
They were held at Berkhamsted School’s Centenary Theatre from Wednesday to Saturday – and from Thursday to Saturday the week before.
Co-chairman of the event Brenda Scott-Oldfield said: “The audiences were absolutely mesmerised by the quality of the performances – the music, singing, harmonies and the number of people involved.
“There was some very good dancing – including street dancing – and some of the choreography was absolutely brilliant.
“People were enchanted by them. It was like going to a West End show – but we had people turn round who had been to West End shows who said that our show far surpassed West End shows.”

The fundraising event for the Pepper Foundation, which looks after children with life-limiting illnesses in Herts and Bucks, last year raised about £32,000 for the good cause.
