A 21-year-old man from Northchurch has been charged with three offences after the collision which killed popular Hemel Hempstead teenager Fazan Ahmed last year.

Arsenal fanatic Fazan, 16, tragically died after the incident which occurred on Jupiter Drive in Hemel Hempstead on August 22 last year.

Andrew John Lane, of Stoney Avenue, Northchurch, was charged yesterday with causing death by careless driving, causing death whilst uninsured and having no insurance.

He has been bailed to appear at Central West Herts Magistrates Court in Watford on April 7.
