A ROYAL Mail blunder left a man with a pile of post belonging to his neighbours.
The bundle of 38 items was left outside the home of Martin Moore, in London Road, Berkhamsted, on Thursday, February 16.
They were all addressed to the adjacent Cedar Road.
Martin, 53, emailed the Royal Mail immediately, but did not hear back from the organisation until a week later.
The post was eventually collected by the Royal Mail two week’s later after the Gazette published an article about the mishap yesterday.
The Royal Mail’s Sally Hopkins said this won’t happen again.
She said: “We will also be contacting Mr Moore as a matter of urgency, to retrieve the mail for redelivery and to apologise to him in person for any inconvenience.”
