Litter picking group aims for 100

editorial image

The Berkhamsted Litter Pickers has got 94 members, but its coordinator wants to take that figure up to 100.

Colin Garatt told a Berkhamsted Town Council committee meeting on Monday that volunteers collected 30 bags of rubbish from the River Bulbourne when it dried up in February.

But he said the group needs more of them – particularly someone to clean the area from the traffic lights to Charles Street in Kings Road. To sign up, ring him on 01442 866694 or email colinngarrett@btinternet.com
