Last chance to have a say on Berkhamsted permit parking plan

editorial image

Campaigners fighting against plans for parking permits in Berkhamsted are urging people to have their say before the public consultation closes on Friday.

The Residents Parking Action Group is calling on people living within the Residents Parking Zone proposal – which incorporates areas around the town’s train station and Charles Street – to object.

“It’s absolutely vital that everyone makes their views known to the council,” said campaigner Cathy Salmon, of Montague Road in the town.

Consultation forms delivered to Berkhamsted Civic Centre must be received by 4pm, or if by email to berkhamsted.towncouncil@dacorum.gov.uk before midnight.
