Thieves snatched a haul of high-end electronics, clothes and cash in two separate thefts from cars.

At some time between 5pm on Monday, January 19 and 7am this morning (Wednesday), an iPod, iPod chargers and a small amount of cash were stolen from a white Land Rover Discovery in Castle Hill Avenue in Berkhamsted.

Herts police are linking this with a second theft in the same road, which occurred between 11.20pm last night and 8.30am this morning.

A laptop, sat nav and clothing were taken from the silver Mitsubishi Outlander sat on the driveway of a home.

Officers say there were no signs of forced entry on either vehicle.

If anyone saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time, they are urged to call non-emergency number 101 quoting D2/15/54 for the first offence and D2/15/55 for the second.
