It’s a group effort as staff smokers pledge to quit
MCHG 12-811 Stoptober at Bourne Leisure, Hemel Hempstead, with with 'determined-to-be' non smokers.
Workers at a Hemel Hempstead firm have agreed to help each other attempt to kick the habit by taking part in a national NHS campaign.
Stoptober aims to encourage as many people as possible to quit smoking for the month of October, and hopefully beyond, and staff who smoke at Bourne Leisure have decided to take part.
Rob O’Brien is an assistant call centre manager at the firm, based in Park Lane, which owns Haven Holidays and Butlins.
The father of three said: “I’ve been smoking for 27 years now and tried to quit many times before. My boys are at that impressionable age and I want to set them a good example.”
