Chilterns 3 Peaks 2012

Chilterns 3 Peaks 2012

Almost 1,000 people walked distances of five, nine and 18 miles yesterday (Sunday) to raise money for Tring-based Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care.

The annual Chilterns 3 peaks Challenge attracted people from all walks of life who wanted to raise money for the good cause.

The nine-mile and 18-mile walkers set off from Princes Risborough School and walked through Wendover Woods then up and down the Chiltern Hills all the way to Ivinghoe Beacon.

Gazette reporter Abena Bailey joined the crowds to complete the 18-mile route and has so far raised £140.
