The hospice of St. Francis is hosting its annual strictly learn dancing fund raiser.

It’s the last call to sign up for the last few places in the dancing challenge with lessons starting at Hemel Hempstead in two weeks.

There are six weeks of expert dance tuition from professional dance teachers to get you ready to compete against 18 other couples.

Florence, a 45 year old staff nurse at the hospice, is entering the competition with her husband.

She said: “Nursing is one side of me, but dancing is another.

“I lost my own mum, Mary, to cancer 11 years ago so I know what it’s like to lose someone you love and this is all about giving back.”

The couples will appear in the Strictly Learn Dancing Grand Finale on Saturday March 14 at the Centenary Hall, Berkhamsted.

To secure one of the remaining places email fran.martin@stfrancis.org.uk or call 01442 869555.
