Hemel teen comes third in Miss Herts
Hayley Griffin, 19, from Hemel Hempstead, came third in Sunday's Miss Hertfordshire Competition.
There were 40 finalists in the event at The Gordon Craig Theatre, in Stevenage, on Sunday, May 3.
St Albans teen Suzi Cummings, 19, came top and won a place in the Miss Englnad finals in July.
Sheila Lynch, 21, from Harpenden, came second.
The event raised more than 6,600 for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
Organiser Sue Waite said: "We had a great evening. Our winner, Suzi, is a beautiful, intelligent and very humble girl. Real worthy winner."
