A specialist playgroup for children with physical needs is hoping to pull in votes to win a National Lottery award.

Hemel Hempstead’s Playskill has made it to the finals of the National Lottery Awards and needs readers to vote to help them bag the £2,000 prize.

The group, based at Woodfield School in Malmes Croft, is up against six others in the award’s education category, which aims to recognise the difference that lottery funded projects make to communities.

Team leader Andrea Clarke
said: “This is something really local and homegrown and we really need you to get behind us and support us.”
