Police have released new CCTV images of a woman they would like to talk to about a stolen purse.
The theft was reported after its owner had a phone call from a man, who said he was from a bank fraud department.
He asked her a series of ‘security questions’, and she then found that three of her stolen debit cards had been used to withdraw money.
The crime happened at 3.45pm on Wednesday, October 2, in Midland Road, Hemel Hempstead, but police have only just released the details.
They say the woman in two pictures they have just released may have information about the crime that could aid their investigation. They have up until now been unable to identify who she is.
If you have any information that could help police, phone them on 101 quoting D1/13/5473 or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
