Blockbuster stores in both Hemel Hempstead town centre and Tring are set to close.
However, the Tring branch in Western Road was already scheduled for closure before the DVD rental firm went into administration.
Administrators announced over the weekend that 129 Blockbuster stores will shut in the coming weeks as part of a phased closure.
The Tring store is part of an additional 31 branches that had already been put on notice of closure.
A spokesman said that the stores will be launching sales but could not give specific closing dates.
For the staff affected by the closures a dedicated employee helpline has been set up and the company is running an employee assistance programme to help those facing redundancy to find new jobs.
Stores will remain open for business as usual and customers will be notified in advance of closures so that they can return their outstanding rental items beforehand. The standard terms and conditions remain in place during this time.
