Half term fun for all the family
Link Family Services holiday fun, Hemel Hempstead. Pics show; Rist sisters having 'fruit fun'- Keeley nine, Emilia four and Isobelle three. Charlotte Slater, nine with hoola hoop Casper Mayo, six, as Batman.
Mums and dads turned out with their little ones for some half term family fun.
Activities for youngsters were put on by Link Family Services, which provides support for families from 15 Hemel Hempstead schools.
The event was at Hobletts Manor Junior School in Adeyfield Road, and there was face painting, glitter tattoos, arts and crafts, hula hooping, a magician and balloon modeller, a Nintendo Wii games console and fruit tasting sessions to keep children entertained on Friday.
Manager Lisa Britton said: “We had lots of volunteers help us and were joined by over 100 people for two-and-a-half hours of fun.”
Link Family Services operates on a low budget, catering for families from across the town with a variety of support needs.
More volunteers are always welcome. To find out more about how to help out call Lisa on 01442 230768.
